A saying from the daily quote's that made me automatically think of my DW and her crusade at the moment against all clutter... (Which automatically started with all my clothes, trophies and other things she thought superfluous... I was just glad I didn't find myself sleeping in the outside bin....)
You can't have everything. Where would you put it?

I started on your trophies 9 years ago. After 9 years of decluttering my stuff, my DH now had and still has far more clothes and shoes than me.
ReplyDeleteI have 'maternity' clothes (one box) and 'breastfeeding' clothes (about 3 boxes worth)
My DH has:
sailing clothes
Darklight lazer game clothes
clothes for yearly family Christmas photo
army clothes from teenagehood
ninjitsu clothes from teenagehood
Basketball clothes from 8 years ago
clothes for paint balling
clothes for normal painting
clothes for working on the car (1ce per year)
'Normal clothes'
tracksuits for bed,
tracksuits for around the house,
tracksuits for company
cargo pants of varying fits for varying activities
work pants
shorts with holes in (because he will not 'cut' labels out of shirts or short but rips them out leaving large holes in the item of clothing') to sleep in (and the same for shirts)
clothes too small
clothes too large but comfortable
work shirts - long sleeved
work shirts short sleeved
t-shirts he likes to wear (read: VERY soft because very well worn and full of holes)
t-shirts he's is allowed to wear (by me) out
collared shirts for pubs (he goes purhaps twice per year) and church
jumpers in all sorts of thicknesses, 'comfortableness', decency of look, sentimentality (like high school graduation jumper)
thick skiing jacket (we've never been)
weird computer nerd black long trench coat thing
normal jackets
thin jacket
denim jacket
and a heap of other stuff.
You're blogging:-) Welcome:-)
